A Total Body Workout Is The Best Exercise For Six Pack Abs
Fitness companies out for a quick buck are cashing-in on people’s desperation to find the fastest way to six pack abs. They pay thousands of dollars to advertise their products on magazines and television and you can bet that people are getting brainwashed. Reason for this is lack of information and lack of time to do a bit of research about the human anatomy. If the overweight masses (two-thirds of the North American population) only knew that a well-defined 6 pack is simply a product of low body fat index, it would have saved them a great deal of their hard-earned income- money that could’ve been spent for the essential things like food and house bills.
The secret to a low body fat index and a shredded midsection is no secret at all. It just takes basic information about the human body’s metabolic processes and calorie management. Most people put their faith on sit-ups and crunches which not only become boring and repetitive after while, but they can even lead to lower-back strain. It’s easy to come to the conclusion that since belly fat is the main hindrance to six pack abs, the best way to eliminate it is by doing isolation exercises that target it. Fact is, ab isolation exercises don’t do anything to reduce lovehandles and a jellybelly.
A flabby stomach is a result of excess body fat brought about by a surplus of calories. If we think about where calories come from and how they’re burned, it’s easy for us to know about how to get six pack abs fast. Eating smartly and exercising effectively- these are the two parts of a pair of scisssors that can trim bellly fat to reveal those sexy six pack abs underneath.
The only way to reduce belly fat is to work at burning total body fat. The best way to do this is by doing total body workouts that employ all the large muscle groups and work them simultaneously. Whole body workouts get the cardiovascular system going and works the muscles at the same time. This leads to more intense physical activity and a higher metabolism. A high metabolism lets the body burn more calories in a shorter time and can even facilitate calorie-burn even after we’ve finished exercising. The more calories we use-up, the less surplus energy left over to be converted into fat at the end of the day.
Eating wisely by eating healthier foods (lean proteins, fruit and vegetables, legumes) instead of skipping meals can also help maintain metabolism by keeping our energy and blood sugar levels stable. Some foods (citrus fruits, fiber-rich food like oatmeal) can even use-up more energy than they provide and help speed-up weight-loss from fat.
Burning calories efficiently and maintaining a high metabolism through total body workouts and smart eating habits- in short, living an active and healthy lifestyle can get you six pack abs faster than any high-tech ab exercise gadget or revolutionary diet pill can.

Thanks for the great info! This might actually save me a lot of time (not to mention money). One question though, doing crunches and sit-ups are not totally useless right? I’ve gotten used to doing them and I noticed they do help hold-in my gut.

You’re right- crunches and sit-ups do have a purpose- they condition and strengthen the muscles around our gut. Just be sure to do them with the right form (not anchoring your feet) as this can cause back-strain. ; )

Great info!Doing normal sit-ups,crunches and such will give you great abs but not getting rid of bellyfat will just hide your wonderful abs under a layer of blub.
Cardio workouts are more important combined with isolation exercises as it will make you healthy and allow you to maintain your 6pack easier.
